You will be successful in this role when commercial opportunities are properly followed up, CRM data is reliable, invoicing is timely, and colleagues can rely on structured support.

Your role

As a Sales & Business Support Officer, you are the operational backbone of the commercial team. You report to the Business Development Director and work closely with the Customer Success Director, Performance Director, and management. You ensure structure, follow-up, data quality, and operational excellence across the entire customer journey. You not only execute, but also monitor processes, challenge colleagues, and continuously improve the way of working. 

Your responsibilities (will evolve with team needs):  

  1. Sales support (priority): Maintain high-quality and accurate CRM data (opportunities, offers, contracts); support commercial campaigns and follow-ups; monitor and analyze the sales funnel; support reporting; assist in tenders and RFP processes. 
  2. Financial & performance support: Ensure accurate and timely invoicing; follow up payments and outstanding items; manage validation of incoming invoices; support reporting and financial KPIs; assist with audit questions if needed.  
  3. Customer success team support: Support specific parts of customer implementations; Ensure accurate and timely follow-up of administrative and operational tasks. 
  4. Internal operations & management support: Manage shared mailboxes and administrative flows; organize team events and ad hoc offsites; contribute to continuous process improvement.

Skills & experience:  

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent through experience 
  • 2 to 5 years of experience in sales support/operations/administration  
  • Strong understanding of sales funnel and customer journey 
  • Experience with CRM (Dynamics is a strong plus) 
  • Strong Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Microsoft 365 skills  
  • Experience with invoicing or financial follow-up is a plus  
  • Languages: fluent FR/NL, EN is a plus
