Contest rules

These contest rules (hereafther the “Rules”) set out the terms and conditions of the « contest to win one free ticket or one 50% discount to Waldon’s yearly event on 7 November 2024” (hereafter the “Contest”) organized by AG Beyond SA-NV, acting through its Waldon business unit (hereafter “Waldon” or « the Organizer”), having its registered office at Boulevard Emile Jacqmain 53, B-1000 Brussels, registered under the number 0894.469.761. 

Article 1: General

1.1. This Contest runs from 20/06 to 12/07 at 23h59 (hereinafter: the "Period") in [Belgium]. This is a temporary contest where the three following prizes can be won:

- One free entry ticket to Waldon’s yearly event of November 7th

- Two 50% discount on an entry ticket to Waldon’s yearly event of November 7th

1.2. These Rules and other information relating to the Contest are available at https://eu.mar.medallia.com/?e=399528&d=l&h=F0C0E4AB3C14668&l=nl. Participation in the Contest is free of charge and implies acceptance of these Rules.

1.3. The Organizer reserves the right at any time to modify the Contest and/or terminate the Competition early for reasons of force majeure, without the participant being able to make any claim against the Promoter. To the extent possible, participants will be notified of such changes.

1.4. By participating in the Contest, the participant confirms that all information provided by him/her is correct and declares that he/she has read and agrees to the contents of the Rules. 

Article 2: Participants

2.1. To be eligible to enter the Contest, an individual must be at least 18 years old, legally competent and an official resident in Belgium. 

2.2. Participation is excluded for (a) employees (and cohabiting partners or relatives) of the Organizer or any affiliate of the Organizer, and for (b) any person directly or indirectly involved in any way in the organization of this Contest.

The Organizer reserves the right to exclude from the contest any entrants who fail to comply with the Rules or who abuse or tamper with the system, or commit fraud or deceit. 

2.4. Participants must be able to prove their identity and age at any time.

Article 3: Method of participation

3.1. Participation of the Contest is free of charge and without any obligation for the Participant.

3.2. Participation is only possible via the link: https://eu.mar.medallia.com/?e=399528&d=l&h=F0C0E4AB3C14668&l=nl. No answer, even if correct, sent by post or any other means of communication will be considered for the award of prizes.

3.3. To participate in the Contest, the following steps must be fulfilled:

  1. Give a correct answer to the 2 multiple choice questions by selecting the chosen answer.
  2. Answer the subsidiary question by filling in the free field provided.
  3. Register fully and correctly by filling in your personal data (first name, name, e-mail address, company and job title).

These conditions are cumulative for a correct participation to the Contest. 

Participation to the Contest must be registered on the server of the aforementioned website by 12/07 at 23h59 at the latest. The date and time of receipt of entries by the Organizer, as recorded by the server of this page, shall be conclusive.

3.4. Only the legible, correctly and completely filled in answers received through this web page under the aforementioned conditions will be considered in determining the winners.

3.5. All costs incurred in participating to the Contest (telephone, internet connection, etc.) shall be borne entirely by the participant, who may under no circumstances claim them back from the Organizer.

3.6. The Organizer may not be held liable for technical problems with the website and/or email system, nor for any incompatibility between the technology used for the Contest and the hardware and/or software configuration used by the participant.

3.7. The participant using a program other than the page https://eu.mar.medallia.com/?e=399528&d=l&h=F0C0E4AB3C14668&l=nl, as well as any modification/adaptation of the latter by the participant is prohibited and will lead to exclusion, and possibly to legal prosecution for copyright infringement.

3.8. The Organizer may delete or cancel the participation of one or more participant(s) if they behave suspiciously. This 'suspicious behaviour' may include (non-exhaustive list): the setting up of an automated response system, the connection of several people and different computer systems based on the same identification/registered profile, an extraordinary win rate, an attempt to access the Organizer's servers, the duplication of accounts, ...

3.9. If any of the provisions of these Rules would not be complied with or in case of attempted fraud or cheating, the prize that would be awarded under these Rules will be reinstated. The winner will then no longer be able to claim any prizes of any type or nature. The Organizer also reserve the right to exclude participants who have committed fraud or attempted to circumvent the Rules.

Article 4: Number of participants

4.1. Each participant (natural person) may enter the Contest once.

4.2. Participation is strictly by name. Under no circumstances may the participant play under different pseudonyms or on behalf of other participants. In the event of multiple entries, notably by using different email addresses or thanks to the use of different identities or any other means of registration, all entry forms shall be rejected and considered invalid.

4.3. Organized and/or collective participation in the competition will be considered an abuse and will automatically lead to the exclusion.

Article 5: Winners

5.1. The winners will be the 3 people answering the first two questions correctly and closest to the right answer for the third and final question. An independent jury will evaluate whether the participants' entries meet all the terms and conditions of the Contest and identify the winning participant(s) (hereafter, the "Winner(s)"). The Winner(s) will be determined by the independent judges in the week between 15 and 21/07, based on the correct answers to the multiple-choice questions and the closest answers (up and down) to the shift question. 

If several participants finish ex aequo, the one who answered correctly and the fastest will be considered the Winner (the date and time of receipt of the entries by the organizer, as recorded by the computer systems, will have evidential value).

5.2. The decision of the Organizer regarding the determination of the Winners is irrevocable and final.

5.3. A maximum of one (1) prize will be awarded per company. In the context of this Competition, "company" means all persons working in the same Group.

5.4. Any Winner who does not comply with the conditions of article 2 will be refused the award of the Prize.

Article 6: Price

6.1. The first winner will receive one free entry ticket to Waldon’s yearly event of November 7th (worth 195€ EUR). The second and third winners will each receive one 50% discount on an entry ticket to Waldon’s yearly event of November (worth 97,5€).

6.2. The prize awarded under this Contest cannot be exchanged or converted into cash. A prize is indivisible and can only be accepted as awarded. 

6.3. Winners will be personally notified by means of the email address they provided as part of their participation in the Contest, within 14 days following the end of the Contest. Should the email address used prove to be incorrect and/or should the Winner fail to respond to the email by 23rd of August at 23:59, he/she will lose the right to his/her prize, without any possibility to redress. In that case, another winner (the next participant who was the fastest) will be designated.

Should the Organizer have any doubts about the identity of the Winner, it reserves the right to request the email notifying the Winner that he/she has won.

The Winners will receive by email the practical arrangements for receiving the prize.

6.5. The results of the Competition may not be subject to correspondence by the Organizer. 

6.7. Prizes that are not distributed for any reason remain the property of the Organizer. In case of refusal of the prize, it also belongs to the Organizer. 

6.8. The Organizer reserves the right to award an alternative prize of at least equal value if for any reason the above prize is not available or can no longer be awarded. 

6.9. The Organizer reserves the right not to award the prize in the event of infringement of any of the provisions of this Contest, without the participant being entitled to any compensation from the Organizer.

Article 7: Complaints

7.1. Any complaint or question regarding this Contest must be sent in writing and no later than 7 business days after the Contest Period, by email:

7.2. Any complaint sent outside this period will not be taken into account. The Organiser will contact you with regard to the answer to your question or the (further) handling of your question or complaint. The Organizer will make every effort to answer or settle the question or complaint satisfactorily.

Article 8: Exclusion of liability

8.1. The Organizer and/or its auxiliaries are not responsible or liable for malfunctions on/in and/or errors of/in relation to the internet, one or more of the websites referred to in this Contest, the cable (or any other relevant) network, software or hardware as well as for any incorrect input and/or processing of the personal data. Furthermore, the Organizer excludes to the fullest extent possible any other liability of the Organizer and/or its auxilaries in connection with this Contest. However, the exclusions and limitations of liability set out in this Contest are without prejudice to the Organizer's liability for its fraud or that of its servants or agents or for the non-performance of an obligation which constitutes one of the Organizer's principal services. 

8.2. The Organizer shall not be liable and/or responsible for any costs associated with participation in the Contest. 

8.3. The Organizer may not, under any circumstances, be held liable for any direct or indirect damage of any kind arising from participation in this Contest and the awarding of prizes.

Article 9: Personal Data

9.1. By participating to the Contest, participants agree that their personal data (first name, last name, e-mail address, job title and company) may be processed by AG Beyond SA-NV, Boulevard Emile Jacqmain 53, B-1000 Brussels, controller, in accordance with the Privacy Act and the Organizer's Privacy Policy available on the website www.waldon.be.

9.2. The data communicated by the participant will be processed solely for the purposes of managing the Contest and awarding prizes to the Winner(s). The data will not be disclosed to any third party. The participant must provide the above-mentioned data in order to participate in the Contest. Otherwise, the Organizer must refuse participation.

9.3. Participants' data will be kept for a maximum of 90 days after the end of the Contest. The data of the winners will be kept for a maximum of 90 days after the prize has been handed over, executed or the period during which the prize will be valid.

9.4. Each participant shall have the right, within the limits of the regulation, to consult, have corrected, transfer, limit and/or delete their personal data, by making a simple written request dated and signed, accompanied by a document confirming their identity (copy of their identity card, passport or similar document, on which they may delete the data that are not relevant to verify their identity as a data subject. The participant may also indicate on this printout the name of the Organizer, the date and the purpose of his request, so that the printout cannot subsequently be used for other purposes), to be sent by post or by e-mail to the Organizer:

Article 10: Competent courts and applicable law

These Rules are governed by Belgian law and shall be interpreted or enforced in accordance with Belgian law. The courts of Brussels shall have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any disputes that may arise from this Contest, or from the interpretation or application of these Rules.
